I have my p1s on my desk with the back facing the wall, and I have to make space around the printer and move my stuff about and lower the AMS everytime so that it is easier to turn the printer around to access the back.
An idea just occurred to me that I could put it on a rotating platform/turntable, so that I just need to spin it to access the back. Probably get a heavy duty swivel base and put a slab of plywood or hard plastic for the platform?
Would this work? Or is it a bad idea 
My P1S is in a enclosure and i have had it on a turntable for quite a while. It works great and I’d recomend it.
Add positive stops while facing forward that lock it into position.

It actually adds somewhat similar to sliding surface to reduce horizontal vibration, which of course lower the noise transmitting to the desk.
I also have P1S inside an insulated enclosure. I have some mods to work around instead of reaching to the back, such as AMS buffer left side mount, PTFE Y splitter for standalone spool, poop chute to the side of the printer, power switch on the side of the enclosure… I virtually don’t need to access the back of the printer now.
Just some idea for your setup.

Wow that’s a nice looking setup! How does the shifting the power button to the side work? Do you have to do soldering and tinker with the electronics?
Yes, of course. But mostly crimping spade connectors instead of soldering.
It’s pretty much a power board but with fancy volt-amp meter
