PVA : flexible or rigid?

Hello everyone

For test, I bought a 100g sample of PVA on AliExpress for a rather special use as a mold for epoxy resin. The solvent side in water is obviously what interests me the most.

I made two or three printing tests to adjust the parameters as best as possible which turned out to be quite correct for a first draft.

Because having never had PVA in my hands, and even more printed, I wanted to know if it is normal that this kind of filament, once printed, remains relatively felxible, a bit like TPU. ?

Thanks for your feedback

PVA becomes more flexible as it absorb moisture, so I would expect it to be somewhat flexible after printing. For printing, you should dry it as much as you can, otherwise you’re likely to get a clog.
