Question about new p1p

Hello everyone,
I purchased the new p1p printer and have two questions which I have not been able to get answered.

Q: Is it possible to hook up a 3rd-party external camera to capture timelapse videos? I am getting the ‘free’ camera with my p1p but it is very low resolution and frame rate.

If the previous answer is ‘no’ - then:
Q: is it possible to purchase the high-quality 1090p camera used with the X1 printer and install it on my p1p?

With this teased add-on extension board, in theory, yes.

As for the same image quality as the X1’s, I would assume there’s some processing power limitation on the P1P that forced them to limit it to 720p@0.5fps. Just a guess though.

The store page clearly states that its only compatible with the X1 series so I would assume that the hardware is indeed not fast enough. Unless the page hasn’t been updated yet.
