Question on Prime Tower

I have the following print that is using 3 colors:

As you can see the top of this print is in YELLOW (no color changes after YELLOW). Seems odd that Studio continues to build the prime tower after the switch to the last color used, YELLOW in this case. Why does it do this? Seems like there’s no need to continue building the tower and it’s just wasting filament & time. Is it doing this due to the switch from the darker (BLACK) to the lighter (YELLOW) and there may be some bleeding?

In cases where you’re switching from a dark to a light color and want to minimize any bleeding, what’s the best way to do this?

If you look closely, there seems to be some gray on top of the prime tower and gray dashes on the front outside of the yellow thing (as well as some on the inside). The filament change count is also 6.

Something is probably not colored right in your model, you need to look closely near the top of the yellow ring again.

Thanks. Yes, when I zoomed in there were a few grey spots that didn’t get colored on my first pass. I didn’t see that initially. And when I cleaned that up, the tower does now stop at the black/yellow border. That’s what I was anticipating initially. Appreciate the guidance.
