I was one of the winners of the excellent participation award for the recent Sandbox games contest.
I haven’t received an email yet regarding my prize, and I’m just wondering if anyone has some insight on how long it takes to receive your award.

The notification said “we’ll be reaching out shortly” so I started to get a little concerned after a few days.
Keep in mind that staff creates labour costs, same for shipping and packing.
Shortly in our modern world can mean literally anything from a few hours to around 2 weeks.
Depending on the time of the year, product promotions and lots of other factors.
As long as you have a valid confirmation things will go the right way, even if they seem to move very slowly - it is the excitement causing it 
The only thing in the way of getting your price might be your location if it is a physical price.
Bambu does not ship to all countries for starters.
And then there is the issue of shipping costs and available shipping services.
If you are somewhere in the modern, western world there is nothing to worry…
On the other extreme, like you somehow managed to get around the firewalls to keep you an obedient North Korean citizen probably means your price will never reach you…
Assuming it the usual filament/small things price you should not have problems.
When I still saw a purpose of entering contests and such it often took up to three weeks to get a shipping/tracking confirmation.
And I am not really in a totally isolated part of the world…
The Bambu T’s & C’s are also a great source worth checking here.
You will find they don’t provide actual timeframes.
But they do provide excuses, sorry explanations/exclusions in terms of delays and expectations.
In short:
Bambu will process your case, sentence you accordingly and send you to jail.
No wait, that the justice department…
Bambu takes a short period to make sure there is no mistakes or valid objection in regards to your win.
Then your price will be handled like any other order and processed and shipped the same way.
So only a matter of the contest side giving the all all clear and the shipping department getting your ‘order’.
It’s weekend now, so probably by Tuesday you will already have an update on things.

I won third place in the Model Car contest, which ended on 2024-09-11, I received an email asking my country store for the code, and after that nothing.
Give them some time… for me the “shortly” was about 2 weeks. If it’s too long for you, maybe contact support?
As someone else mentioned in another thread, I believe it’s a major holiday in China this week, so many of the MW staff are probably out of the office.
When did you received this email? In my case, I received the coupon by email a couple of days (3 days from memory) after replying to this email.
But as @ozarkexpeditions mentioned it, China has its national holiday from the 1st to the 7th October. So it might take longer
Yeah, they’re off for 7 days. The Golden Week, as I understand it.
It can sometimes take a minute plus. Just takes patience. It was a couple of weeks for me, and that was with them knowing my country and stuff.
We’re so use to the Amazons of the world giving us everything right away, haha. I’ve been learning with Bambu though things move a bit slower. They still move though.
For the sandbox games contest, I received my email on 8-15, and I replied 8-16, then got the gift code emailed to me on 8-21
