My X1C is currently running a 24+ hours multicolor print (This is my first time running a 24+ hours print on the X1C).
For all my other sub-24 hour prints, when cutting or changing filament, the printhead usually moves to the front-left corner and then almost directly to the poop chute.
However, I’ve noticed that during the current print, the printhead first moves to the front-left corner to cut the filament as usual, but then it moves to the front-right, then bottom-right, before finally heading to the bottom-left poop chute. This route is much longer than usual.
Is this normal for longer prints, or could it be caused by something else?
It tries to avoid travel over the print. So the routing of the print head might be different depending on what’s on the build plate. 24 hour print, I’m guessing you’re using most of the build plate?
