Question usb port

hello,
yesterday arrived the p1p, configurate wifi, self diagnostic,all ok, i had done two printers with project in micro sd,but usually i prefer work by usb pen, so i have put usb pen and the printer dont see it, where am i wrong? does it need to be formatted in another non-NFTS format?

I’m assuming you mean you inserted the USB pen into the USB slot on the panel behind the screen? If so, that’s not going to work. You’ll need to use a Micro SD card.

You might be able to mod your printer by using a Micro SD to USB cable like this mod to go from Micro SD to SD:

thx for your repaly,then the printer work only with micro SD or send file by Bamu Studio and that usb port what is it for? can i connect a camera or a light to it?

Right – it allows you to power some type of accessory like an additional light or camera. It’s a bonus feature that most people will likely never use. And then maybe Bambu Lab will release future accessories that can be powered by that port.

FYI Bambu now sells LED’s that make use of the USB port. Just search for LED on the website.

There is always the option to use a WiFI enabled SD card.
■■■■ in terms of speed but with the little reading speeds the printer needs still overkill.
Like that you can access the SD remotely.
Other option is to use the Lan only mode and a program like WinSCP to transfer files to a normal SD using FTP.
