Questions about BL brand Petg

Hi all, Anyone know why the HF is out? Is t his a common thing?

With it being out I was looking at the translucent as an option since it is the same price, but is it the same thing as the HF with the only difference being it is translucent?

I could go with the CF if need be but I think the only advantage is a slight increase in impact strength and stiffness but a slower print speed?

What do you mean by “it is out”?

Do you mean out of stock?

I have checked they appear to be out of stock in all the territories I looked at.

I have no idea why I have not seen any announcements to explain it - it is a popular material.

The HF means High Flow, which means the filament can be pushed through the hot end faster than traditional PETG. It means it prints faster.

So, translucency is not the only difference.

CF means Carbon Fibre; this is the addition of Carbon Fibre into the filament. Printing with it requires a hardened steel hotend and hardened steel gears. This is part of the reason the print speed is slower. This material has a much rougher texture than without the inclusion of CF.

You can use an AMS, but not an AMS Lite.

The translucent materials are not bad, I have most of them.
