Quick Color Replace Tool + Mixed Color Code Support

Hello,

This is my first post on the forum, and I would like to suggest a feature for Bambu Studio that I believe would be very useful, especially now with the introduction of color mixing.

It would be extremely helpful to have a function that allows users to replace one color with another across a model, without having to manually repaint everything or reassign filaments in the AMS.

A typical use case would be:
I import a model generated with MakerLab that already has complex colors applied. To reproduce those shades, I create custom colors using the color mixing feature. At that point, I would like to simply say something like:
“wherever color 1 is used, replace it with color 11.”

As far as I know, this is not currently possible, and implementing it would save a significant amount of time and make the workflow much more efficient.

Additionally, it would be very helpful to assign or generate mixed colors using a color code (such as those provided by MakerLab), instead of relying only on manual sliders

thank you

Orca slicer has this. It’s called remap filaments in the painting tool. So, the code already exists. Easy add for Bambu studio..

I’m not sure if this helps (it’s not exactly what you’re suggesting) but currently in the menu next to each filament there’s a “Merge with…” option, which sorta (maybe) does what you’re asking (if I understand correctly).

EDIT: Or actually, if you just select a new filament/color for, say, #1 filament, doesn’t everything painted in that color also change? (Not sure if that works with mixes or what happens to those.)
