Quick draw basic objects along curved surface

So I downloaded this “Sting” sword model for Holloween. But I then saw it doesn’t actually have the leaf design along the handle, it’s blank. I have advanced computer skills but not Artistic ability. Is there a free program that wouldn’t be too difficult to draw a line path along the handle, and then just stamp basic leaf symbols on there? I can AMS print it then. The trick here is software that will create the path along a defined surface like this handle…

What’s your base of knowledge? Because it’s more involved than just that

So I can program macro’s in excel and am a scientist. I can understand complex stuff if it’s written clearly. But I’m still newer to printing and haven’t moved on from TinkerCad yet. And I have no experience with drawing software other than basics like paint.

Sounds like perhaps Fiverr is what you’re looking for?

You can use Fusion360 to import the sword. Find or draw a picture of the leaves. Convert that picture into an .svg file. Import that .svg file in fusion360. Place it on the handle, extrude it on the handle and presto!

Not so easy, but it is a methode.

If you import the model into TinckerCAD what does it look like, I know sometimes it distorts geometries

I have a feeling that the OP wants to wrap the design around the handle in a spiral which complicates things.

Concur, but I’m wondering if painting it would be sufficient or if the artifacts need to be raised so it can be painted easier

Indeed, I want the design to wrap around the hilt. And I suppose it will in fact have to be raised even the tiniest bit for it to be painted in Bambu. I’m totally open to learning a couple fusion 360 tricks

That does it. I like learning new things but I only have a few hours to invest in this step.
