Ramming volumetric speed in Studio 2.0.1.50?

There appears to be a new filament profile setting called Ramming volumetric speed under the Volumetric Speed Limitation section and I’m not finding any definition of what this is. Does anyone know what this does? Seems to have a default setting of -1 mm3/sec.

I found some mention of this parameter in the Wiki (Prime tower | Bambu Lab Wiki SECTION 4). But it says this is only for multi-nozzle printers and should be set to 0 to disable. Why is this showing as -1 on default? I’m printing on an A1 Combo. What happens if this is set to -1 when printing on the A1? Should I set it to 0 or will it just disable normally when printing on a single nozzle printer?

Since ramming in general is all about managing the blob of the tip of filament when pulling it out, I would assume a negative volumetric speed is creating a vacuum of sorts to manage that. But I’m guessing based on the little I know about ramming.

I don’t suggest you disable it for the sake of difference. I believe its for the H2D’s second nozzle (so that it doesn’t have to cut the nozzle’s filament when its capping it), but I’m against changing defaults when there is no correction you are working towards.
