I ran out of a certain color filament in my AMS and tried to cancel print job. First, the printer was totally unresponsive - nothing on the controls worked. So, I turned off power, waiting 30 seconds, and powered back up. Now I can move cursor to the stop button to cancel print, but nothing happens. I tried cancelling via the app - again nothing happens, I went into Bambu Studio and went to device tab. It shows that the print stopped part way through and lets me continue or cancel. I cancel, the popup asks for confirmation, which I give, and nothing happens. I’ve restarted my phone, restarted the software on my computer, restarted the printer (power off/on) and am unable to get it to actually cancel the print. My printer has the fan continuously running, but I can’t cancel the print job. Help!!!
I had a similar issue the other day, on a P1S. Might not be the same solution, but I just navigated to the load filament option and put more filament in. Continued the print for about 5 mins with the new filament and then I was able to cancel.
Thanks Matt. What wound up working for me was to power off and unplug my printer and let it sit for a few minutes to think about what it did (jokes). Seriously though, it wasn’t working just turning it off. I had to unplug it completely and let it sit. Then after a couple minutes I plugged it back in and fired it up and it had cancelled the print job and was ready to go again. Nothing else seemed to work. I’m chalking it up to a software glitch.
