I got 33 different point notifications in the span of 1 minute, all saying “Your MakerReward points have arrived.” They all had amounts ranging from 1 to 5, in total 45 points. I’ve gotten this message once after my points were wrongly taken. I’m not really sure why this happened. My best guess is a hidden system where people are given points for every _ amount of downloads after reaching a milestone.
Oh, I just saw mine jumped like this. In that case what @aaronmoore101010 said 
NOPE… One of your models got a star rating above 4. The points are calculated from zero to your current figure
Looks like they increased the value of boost points from 11 to 12 and making up for the ones you’ve already redeemed. I guess the 12 points more accurately equal $1.

found this after googling, I think there may be multiple reasons this happens - tonight I had a single notification and a LOT of points arrive, this is after receiving several unprompted ‘points review complete’ notifications, likely due to a semi-viral increase in downloads on some of my models (they were featured in two youtubes) so I think they were held up to safeguard against bots or spam, and once they verified they were legit they released the points. I’m still waiting on a verification to be able to redeem them, but that’s normal par for the course.
