Rating sabatoge

so i have this person after nearly 1k downloads of satisfied printers suddenly post a 3 star rating and put “low quality” on my profile , he didnt even include a print image of his print…is there a way to refute this or protect against sabateurs its probably a guy i called out for selling it without my permission.
here is my model. i know everything cant have a perfect rating but this is definitely better than 3 stars

thanks for the advice …25 characters

I don’t see this as rating sabotage. Rating sabotage would be something like 10 ratings all together. zero stars.

I would say this just fair persons view on how it went. People can judge themself on things from other rating and reviews.

Tbh i would say this more chance of model advertising post over sabotage.

well you cant rate it more than once with one account… so idk seems sus

If this is rating sabotage, you should welcome it  You got reward points from this user’s print, even with the 3-star rating.

I would be suspicious because you recently had a stolen model taken down.

If there are a few, report them. If there is one, leave it.

I recently got a 3 star review saying: “support issue” on a model that uses no supports. No big deal, but it is very strange.

Perhaps the person thought that supports would be better. Some use different filament than intended and a slower print speed. If your model is a model without overhangs, report it. Then it would be obvious.

Its always possible that some users have wildly different opinions on a model, and thats fine, but Makerworld has stated themselves that users are expected to provide feedback when giving lower scores. Just randomly giving <5 stars without explanation = report, in my book.

When feedback appears negative but confusing/unclear, I would personally leave a reply requesting further info, give them a week, and if they come back, great. If not, make a call on whether to report (no sense wasting your time on it if its 1 out of 1000 ratings) - but if you do report, do it honestly and give a proper description of why you’re challenging it (eg lack of clarity, reached out, no response etc).
