Ratings with meaningless picture

Hey  do you guys also receive ratings including an irrelevant picture. I got two in a couple of days. It looks like another kind of points farming to me :face_exhaling:

That definitely looks like points farming to me.

At least it was a good rating, but I guess they know that bad ratings without information will get removed. I feel like you should remove those also, but if you do, will they lose the points gained?

Well as we have seen this past week some users would think that is a crystal clear good enough photo. :person_shrugging:

Yep, all the time. My favorite ones are the black squares and 1 star ratings with ā€œlacking supportsā€ on a model that is 2mm thick and laying down on the bed

Or the ones like i got today, where the model has been printed more than 100 times, profiles are spot on, no problems at all and yet, someone comes and gives it a 1 star rating saying that supports are ā– ā– ā– ā– , bed position of the parts are ā– ā– ā– ā– , etc., etcā€¦ oh wellā€¦

Posting reviews gets points and even more with a photo. So of course the scammers will find a way.

Any rewards system will get hammered if not actively policed and controlled.

I have a feeling that the rewards are under a lot of pressure. Thatā€™s bad for longevity.

But then you can only get 50 points per month doing reviews. This is hard-capped, thereā€™s nothing there to gain/game from garbage review and risk whole account. Thatā€™s probably dumbest point farming strategy.

You got a picture and you are complaining?

I would love a picture, even your example when some of the daft ratings come in.

Good point. I donā€™t get to review much these days.

Unfortunately, I have to admit that I canā€™t really get on board with the passion for collecting points.
Itā€™s nice when Iā€™m rewarded for my prints or print profiles in this way and I redeemed a gift voucher today to get purchased parts cheaper.
But I would never sit down and pointlessly construct parts to collect points with.
Because in my opinion the cost-benefit factor just doesnā€™t add up.
And when I see on some sales platforms here in Germany that the gift vouchers are being offered for -25% of the actual value because the providers canā€™t really do anything with them, I can only shake my head.
Although Iā€™m not really interested in the exclusive points either, because if I want something, Iā€™ll buy it and not start collecting points with pointless stuff.
Because I donā€™t have that much free time besides my job and God knows Iā€™d know better things to do with my free time than collect points. So just leave the people who really want to do it that way alone, at some point they will lose interest in it or they will find less and less for their print profiles.

So I hope you have a lot of fun with MK and donā€™t let people like that spoil your fun.
