My X1CAMS stopped working and while I have tried fixing it I have not been successful. Is there a service center I can send the unit to? I live in Arizona.
Welcome to the forum! No, you would open a ticket and they will help you determine what needs to be replaced and then send you the parts. There is a video on the wiki on replacing the camera. Did you try turning the printer off and back on and restarting Bambu Studio (or the app) and see if that fixes it?
Also you may want to change the title of this post to reflect the problem you’re having.
Thank you for the reply.
I have been working on it since mid december with no luck. I am slowed down because I lost one of my eyes and the other is slowly getting worse due to macular degeneration. I would just like to pay someone to fix it for me or I will have to buy another AMS to replace it.I hate to consider it a throw away item but I am left with few choices.
Oh goodness, I’m sorry about your eyes. I’m also sorry for miss-reading your problem. I read it as X1 Cams, but it was X1C AMS. So I now understand the thread title and why you quoted that post.
Can you tell us exactly what it’s doing?
Also, without being too specific, what city are you near? I can see what’s close to you repair-wise.
Thank you for your reply, Printer. I am located in Scottsdale, a suburb of Phoenix. The AMS makes a loud grinding noise and does not feed the filament. I have tried many different filaments and none of them will work now. If I have a spool off the back or from one of my dryers, I have no problem with any of them so it’s entirely an AMS problem.
My eye problem has been coming on for a long time now but I appreciate your comment.
Regards,
You’re welcome. Does it do it on all 4 slots or just one?
I’m not finding a lot in the Phoenix area but I did find a “Maker Space” that’s open to the public and the colleges. Where there are makers you’ll always find people who love to fix things.

Arizona State also has a 3D printing program. I know it’s a long shot but maybe they are looking for projects?
