In his post “Growing Concerns About Bambu Lab’s Direction, An Open Letter“ Kukuschi indicated a variety of things that where bothering him about Bambu Lab actions. However, he indicated that two where of significant enough issue that he was leaving Bambu Lab products in general.
In this survey I would like to ask the community to address by vote if they agree with this sentiment.
These topics are as follows:
Do you believe that Bambu is artificially gatekeeping features?
Do you believe that Bambu has an unbalanced relationship with the open-source community?
Just for the record, I have voted undecide because I’m not willing to skew the votes. I really want your view on this.

First, I think that if we go into this topic any more we should all agree to keep the 3d printed firearm discussion out of it. As we have already well discussed that topic and it was only one point in what the original post said.
Is Bambu artificially gatekeeping features?
No, they are not. I see it as they are keeping features in line to what product line they are planning to serve. You shouldn’t expect H series features in a P series machine.
Is Bambus relationship with the open source community not balanced?
Yes, but at the same time that does not stop anyone from copying them.

Artificial is kinda a hard word for business/marketing, its all artificial 
100% of it through and through, always was, always will be
I don’t think they are enshittifying but it’s close. I think the “polish and feel” they used to bring to the table is objectively wearing down. Along with that, Bambu’s original 3 felt cohesive and tightly focused, but now by the nature of having so many SKUs its gonna feel like you are missing something no matter what you get. This is a business strategy but im not sure it’s one theyre trying to use or if they just fell into it lol

I agree with this. Because sure as heck, someone is going to want the speed of a H series to apply it to a P series and wonder why he is getting a spaghettit farm…just wait for it…
