Real motor current values?

One of these values is correct, or default is underdriven? Anyone know for certain? Thanks very much!

I don’t know. But if default is 67.5%, then both values are correct.

45%/0.8 = X/1.2, X= 45%*1.2/0.8, X = 67.5%

2/3rds of max (or thereabouts) seems like a reasonable default.

Right, I usually go with 80%

Yeah. Generally accepted design practice is to provide 20% margin over max expected voltage/current. For example, if the part can draw 100A, design so you only subject it to an 80A load.

So if we consider that 0.8 is really 45% power, we could probably rise the value to 1.3 or even 1.4 and staying in the 20% margin.

Will we see a benefit ?

A slight more torque probable, but will it be noticeable ?

And what if we also rise a bit the 24V from the PSU to e.g. 25V ?
