The degree of which you boast your “skills” is pathetic…
You literally told me you dont give a within makerworld on via the app all because I commented how I wasn’t sure how your poop emoji model pertained to the purged filament contest as an entry…
You put geometric pattern holes through shapes… literally everything… to be little me when I simply care about where this platform goes is wild to see coming from you not to mention it’s being supported by other designers. Just troll my next uploads please
I’m just calling it like it is. Being a member of a particular race doesn’t give anyone a “hall pass” to disparage another.
I’m just having a bit of fun. It’d do us all some good to sit back and joke a little.
Now you’re just making stuff up. I wish you didn’t delete your comments.
All my replies to my ■■■■ spinner were ■■■■ related, you were just too salty to take a joke. doesn’t mean to “eat ■■■■”
As mentioned earlier, I perceive two distinct types of creators: those who primarily emphasize design and those who prioritize financial gain (to put it simply). Upon reading your text, it’s unclear whether you identify more with the former or the latter category, or if you harbor doubts about the feasibility of the latter.
However, belonging to the second category doesn’t guarantee instant success. Personally, I’ve found it financially rewarding, as have many other creators. Of course, this outcome heavily depends on how one values their time. Did you purchase the X1C and €1000 worth of filament solely for your projects on MW? Most likely not. Therefore, when evaluating profitability, it’s essential to consider only the additional expenses incurred beyond what you would have spent anyway.
Last time I checked, China itself isn’t a “Race”…
The fact you came here to play games shows your intentions and true colors… Playing the “ahh your salty, sucks to suck” kinda guy and I look like I’m just complaint complaint complaint.
I took a professional approach to exit that interaction with you. Yes you refreshed my memory, you only told me you don’t give a yup I agree.
What I do know is that if I were in the position you happen to be in within MakerWorld, I wouldn’t make fun or bash peoples skill levels. If MakerWorld banned your account today you’d definitely feel some type of way and I know you’d reach social media platforms to express that…
You’ve done great for yourself on MW. You get the trophy my guy. lol Im just not the person to bow down to someone and let em talk whatever they want though haha
I agree man as you’ve done very well also. Literally the featured and top designers are within this thread as there’s only those who interact online are going to be here. This isn’t the facebook group in which BL’s official group definitely gets pretty wild as well I try to just help since I was part of it 2 months after it was created.
I’m not angry at all, only with 1 individual because he simply trolls.
I’m a small creator with a few designs and managed to get a few gift cards. Nothing major like some of the rest of you. But I woke up this morning to this new boost system and found one of my uploads already had been given a boost by another small time creator. I’ve never seen their profile before but after checking them out they had some cool work that I’m going to be printing out today.
So while the new system might not be the most favorite topic today it linked two creators this morning.
Some people see it as a sponsorship given out to everyone.
we could also just go to cults3d wich pays you off for the models and real money too, but we choose to upload here and trade our models for free filament or free printers so yeah I think that its a bit sad the way its done now my friend, as a matter of fact I am thinking in rellocating some of my models if this doesnt move up a bit better then it is now for the past weeks its been pretty low and I personally dont feel it should be done that way. we all have our opinions here I guess.
Thank you for trying to make MakerWold better.
However…
Popular models are popular for a reason.
Creating a brand new well-planned idea is not easy and a lot of time and effort can go into a seemingly “non-complex” model.
Often times a “simple” model has required an immense amount of work to reach the elegant solution that many take for granted. I feel that these changes are disregarding such models and not recognizing their high-value worth in the community.
I would like to see work put into discourage license neglect versus another way to manipulate which models become popular.
Thank you for reading and have a great day.
That’s the joy of the internet, everyone is entitled to their own opinion regardless if it’s justified or not. I might need to go back and read exactly what everyone suggested to MW because I have to be missing something.
Since I don’t recall reading a suggestion calling for a new system of implementing points. I like your work also, keep that up
I wann see it too, I wonder if he will be sick ? I know my dogs ate some before so im always carefull on not dropping on the floor, but I mean it didnt kill them so I guess what doesnt kill makes you stronger ? ?
You’re not just salty, you’re spicy, too
Popular models with over 1,000 downloads will now be penalized with a point reduction of 70% vs. what it was previously awarded?
How is this an incentive for creating great work?
What about the people who busted butt to develop quality models for MakerWorld when it launched which drew a huge amount of new signups and members? Now they’re thrown under the bus just because they have more downloads?
I highly recommend removing this point penalty which negatively targets quality models that have become popular.
-70% actually, it is a .3 multiplier
You’re right - I corrected it to 70%, thanks.
