What am I doing wrong I’m using up to date Bambu studio and print at standard settings, (with the exception of the infill being changed to gyroid) and 3 walls. I attached some pictures that hopefully will help you see my issue
Check the belts:
Thanks! I will try this. it hasn’t given me a message to do it though
it didn’t seem to work, any other suggestions?
Please share your .3mf file if possible to check the flow rate changes.
Considering the location where the lines occur, it might be related to the speed and flow rate changes.
Slightly lowering the Max volumetric speed in the filament settings could help keep the quality a bit more consistent.
Body1.3mf (174.5 KB)
here is the 3mf.
it also has a problem where really bad lines occur when the floor of the print gets done. there is a really bad line that you can see in the pictures,
switching the wall generator to arachne and slowing down the outer wall helps a little but not much
The lines shared in the pictures are also present in the Flow view of the .3mf confirming the problem.
Setting the Max volumetric speed to 18 should solve it
If this is your design, it is also recommended to adjust the shape of the bottom section to be at a 45 degree angle, compared to making it curved which is harder to print. An alternative can be using supports and a lower layer height (0.16mm) to help print it a bit better.
If it is visible also in preview, I would try to change seams. If they are aligned, the holes give me similar issues but at way smaller scale. Once I set seams to example BACK, then the surface is more clean. Try this and pls let us know if this helped
thank you so much! i will try this
Ok thank you! you all have been really helpful, i will check back!
Also just changed everything to chamfers
Here is the completed design!
also if you can see in the attached picture at the bottom of the print i’ve been having lines where the floor of the print is, I did some research and people say this is the “benchy hull line affect” but i don’t believe it is. the line significantly bumps out and is visible in all of my prints (that have floors on them) and its not caused by warping because there was no warping on this part.
