I’m a teacher and much of the super helpful teaching materials are costly.
I used Spike Prime for 5 years until the price went so high I couldn’t purchase more, and I’ve used the MBot2 for two years.
The general outline of my class is:
- students learn how to program right/left/forward
- students learn about input (and how to deal with that)
- students learn about output (make it look and sound nice)
The Cyberbrick can do some really heavy lifting with the whole remote and other items.
It’s possible to use python to code autonomous robots (solved)
There are no inputs on the receiver. Would a IR or bump sensor ever work with the firmware?
The output is limited to the RGB light. Any chance that a piezo buzzer could ever be created for it?
As with the Spike prime, I’m fine not needing to do everything all at the same time. Heck, I’d even swap motors out and use 360 to drive (there are pros and cons to that). It’d just be very neat to do something that was building from the ground up.
