Both PEI beds and a 0.6mm nozzle hotend assembly (whole assembly makes swapping lightyears faster) were all a necessity for me.
YMMV on the PEI tho. Plenty of people have complaints about both. But then again gluing up for every print is an even bigger hassle than some smooth PEI adhesive bubbling or having to scuff your brand new PEI bed with steel wool.

If you add 7$ you can buy the whole ‘Front Housing Assembly’ which includes the fan.

The fan I am recommending is the one connected to the hotend. I believe the one on the housing is different (it cools the extruded filament).

The hot end fan (nozzle heatsink) is included on the “nozzle assembly” part number. The part cooling fan is the outer visible one that blows at the tip of the nozzle.
Very new to this. Just ordered an x1. Know nothing about 3d printing. I looked on Bambu site and found not much of anything for parts or accessories. Are the hot-ends, nozzles, fans , print plates available through them? Seems even most of the item’s they list they do not have.

Yes the nozzles hotends etc are available on their store. You’ll find them all there and depending on region, the store is different but the accessories and spares are available through the webstore. Are you looking for anything in particular?
