Recommended way to change filament when printing from cache?

When printing a file from the printer’s cache, it will use the filament slot and parameters for the orifginal print. Is there is a better way to change this than waiting until it starts and using the printer control panel or handy app?

EDIT 1 Wait, i’ve just seen this in the control panel. I’m sorry.

EDIT 2 Wait, you can’t change temperatures or parameter there, just choose a new AMS slot. So the question still stands.

Settings such as temperature are embedded in the gcode, so there isn’t a way to override them. Yes, you can change the temp on the control panel or Handy after a print starts, but if there are filament changes they’ll get overidden by the gcode.
