An idle thought today.
Would be nice if I could tell the slicer to drop travel and acceleration above a certain Z-height. Especially for the A1 series, this would lower the possibility of nozzle collisions or just momentum tearing a print off the bed.
I would love this feature as well. On my H2D printing a tall curved piece I cannot avoid collisions at tall heights of roughly 85% of my print height, without reducing acceleration… which increases print time 31% as I have to reduce acceleration for ALL layers, when only the last 18% of the print or so need the acceleration reduction.
