Reducing startup time

For larger/longer prints, the Bambu X1 offers some speed advantages, but for smaller prints, the startup procedures reduce this benefit. Do any of you disable some of the initial phases, like bed leveling or extruder calibration?

My first print of the day i do abl and cal. If i change spools i cal. I read on one of the many social platforms a BL employee recommended releveling the bed if you removed the build plate. I dont do this.

There’s this, Printables though it goes further than I’m comfortable with, but maybe take some ideas.

@mobiobi very interesting and helpful. Thank you!

Great find. Thank you. Even if I don’t use it, seeing what modifications were done will be a good educational experience.

Bed leveling is rarely needed just do it if you move printer or change plate, and flow calibration can often be disabled : if you print with the same filament or if you add PA setting in filament (using GCODE in BambuStudio or PA settting in Softfeaver)

Ex in BambuStudio :

@Nairod starting GCODE seems very interresting
