Anyone else get the code for the wrong region or is it just me? They sent me a code for UK store even though Im in Canada and I indicated that on the questionnaire.
Mine hasn’t come through yet. I’ll let you know when I get it.
I had a code issued for the US when I needed a U.K. one for a different thing.
A ticket, time and explaining obvious things twice in the ticket had a U.K. version issued.
Yeah I opened a ticket already.
PS: Since you are in UK, I will send you my UK one to try after they issue a CA one.
Mine just came in… when I add it under “Coupon Code” at checkout I get the “This promotion has changed” message and it’s not applied. How do you tell what region it’s for?
In the fine print of the email… Also I think bambu were trying to send me a message with the code.
I’ll happily take any UK codes that people can’t use
Just received one for UK. I’m in EU.
Ohhh, ok. Well mine is for the US then, it just doesn’t work
definitely mine (if I’ll ever get one) will be valid for down under, though I’m in the EU…
Let @waynejohns1973 have it if it works out you can share it.
I have some gift cards built up, not going to be an issue for me, I am lucky enough to purchase everything I need using earned gift cards.
Plus, my house is full of filaments, well over 250 spools now, too many printers that I donate them, cupboards full of spares and MakerSupply stuff.
I am also cashing out each month and giving that money to my friend’s kids.
I am almost at Scrooge McDuck levels of stuff.
Not meant to be bragging, just pointing out others could benefit more.
I would prefer any benefit go to someone else.
Remember when I said elsewhere they promised not do do any more promotions until they stopped screwing them up and creating a solution that meant they “just worked”?
Nailed it!
Thanks Malc,
I calculated I’ve spent over 16k through Bambu in the last 2 years.
1 H2D/AMS2, 3 P1S/AMS the rest on filament.
Yet have no voucher codes or discounts. My problem is probably that the few models I have made and sell, I haven’t published so that others don’t just print and sell themselves.
It is always a gamble, you hope the honest ones will subscribe to a Patreon style commercial license agreement.
I model to keep from going nuts with boredom laying in bed 23+ hours a day.
I still have 25+ models to upload that just need artwork. My issue is, once I have solved the problems and printed it, I have already moved on to the next one. Which is why I have 850+ available currently.
Funny enough, the only model a bunch of aliexpress guys stole from me is the one I dont sell on etsy (mac mini vertical stand) so I dont mind.
