I just got the X1C and tried everything with Windows Media Player, could not work. Finally ran the command line command in your reply after closing Studio, restarted studio, hit play, and Pay Dirt!
Bambu should allow any player in all honesty. Compared to their printer, I am sure it is not a complicated s/w solution to get out there.
