Hello, I would like to request an additional option for scaling objects that it relative to the object 100% scale.
The way it is now if i scale on object i can see the scale relative to the 100% and i can reset but when i select two or more there is no relative scale and is always at 100%. I often print object at different scales and it would be great if i could select all on a plate and set the scale to 150% of the normal scale with one setting. The way it is now i have to do int individually on every object,
Please add this as this looks like a Basic thing to have, or perhaps it is there and I missed it
If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to select all objects on a build plate and scale them with one dialogue box/interaction.
There are several ways to do this and I can’t imagine what other ways there might be.
The top three ways that one might do this.
CTRL-A will select all objects across all build plates - Inconvenient if you have more than one build plate.
CTRL-Click each object which will add to your selection.
Shift-Click-Drag and drag a dotted line box around the objects which will select all the objects that are
Once the objects are selected then either select the scale icon or use the hotkey S. I have noticed in some contexts the hotkey does not function but it’s such a minor nitpick that I haven’t bothered with a bug report.
Alternatively, one could simply select the objects under manipulation, once selected, right-click and make an assembly. Then scale the assembly.
That is not it at all. I can select just fine. The problem is about setting the scale of all objects to a desired value let’s say 150%. if I previously changed one object to 120% and another to 90% scale when i select them both i can see the selection at 100% . I would like to override them both to 150% from the selection.
That is what I am doing currently, selecting on by one, but it takes time and is prone to errors (miss one object by mistake for example) it would be great if it was implemented. It was present on other printer programs. I added this to [Feature Requests] so if anyone else would like this i would appreciate commenting
