A german youtuber found a remedy for his print problems, causing bad prints due to varying reasons.
He did a factory reset and did all calibrations again. He found that is very important to include the “High-temperature Bed Leveling” which is omitted by default.
Maybe this procedure can help users with similar problems.
This is also what the support team suggests. However, it’s more than just that. Speaking for my own experience: it’s a combination of software/firmware and how Bambu Studio changed + hardware issues (my heater assembly didn’t do what it was supposed to).
Yes! When I saw that option not selected, I knew that I had to do it “myself”. I just basically ran all the calibrations again, and included that one. It’s been great since! It wasn’t horrible before whatsoever, but that single one made an actual “visual” difference. Or at least that’s what I’m equating the difference to, as it was only after that, that I saw the huge jump…
I’ve tried all of this and my issues are still here. Actually its worse as I can’t use my left nozzle at all. I feel I have some hardware issues. I’ve done 3(or 4) factory resets, probably 15+ calibrations. Multiple high temp calibrations. Tried resets with or with the AMS connected. Support has been SLOW. I feel communication speed is on par trying to do support via traditional letter mail.
I really want this printer to work as advertised. I’m sure they are slammed right now but I’m used to US based support and getting things resolved quickly. I think it could be a really good printer once everything if figured out.
On my X1C farm I learned very early on that every time there is an upgrade I factory reset and re-calibrate. Also I wonder how many people recalibrate after adding all those bits like risers etc etc.
The reset and calibration including high bed temp setting is not suddenly a miracle solution for every hardware failure.
But most likely a remedy for a lot of users with the same issue.
If it doesn’t work, the advice is still to create a support ticket.
