Remove a Train Wreck

Hi,

On a rare occasion, my prints mess up and I have spaghetti or something. I stop the print - but the print head (extruder) is still on, or mm away from the print.

HOW… or what in the phone or PC software can I do - to lower the build bed - to take train wreck off the plate, and start all over?

When a good print is done - the printer does what I am asking for. The bed lowers and the extruder is raised, so that you can easily grab the build plate and take the part off… Is there something I can do - to tell the printer to do that after I stop a print that has gone bad??

Thanks

AJ

Cancelling the print will stop bed and nozzle heating; get more room for cleanup by lowering the bed with the manual control.

Sometimes the nozzle has collected a large blob of filament; keep a cotton rag nearby to attempt to wipe it off while the nozzle is still warm.
