Hi there!
I recently purchased the A1 mini and I’m absolutely love it.
Having some experience with a Felix 3D printer (felix 3), but the mini is so much beter…
Started slicing and was wondering if it is possible to remove certain support since there is no need for some parts to have support.
See picture below:
I learned just a few days ago that you can also add a support blocker with a right click on the object and the addition of a primitive shape or a custom model:
Is there a similar method for the Infill? I created a drawing with a void for a magnet but the infill is populating the void I created. I cannot turn Infill off due to needing Infill in other areas. Thank you
On another note is it possible to delete certain lines after slicing?
You can also do it in BambuStudio, but it may be challenging for complex models. E.g.:
1. To open a void space, e.g. for magnet insert, into an existing solid print;
2. Right-click on the print file, select “Add part” or “Add negative part” and choose the correct shape for the magnet;
3. Scale the added part to the correct dimensions;
4. Position the added part within the original print file, i.e. in the place where you want the void space;
5. If you selected a “Add Part” in 2, subtract it from the original print file using boolean operations, specifically the “Difference”.
6. On the other hand, if selected “Add negative part” in 2 , you can skip step 5. In both cases, the results entail the look for void space.
