I removed a damaged PEI sheet from a plate. Rather than coming off cleanly, it left the entire glue sheet attached to the plate. I’ve tried IPA and acetone to clean it off, but no luck. Can my plate be saved?

Adhesives need different chemicals than the typical suspects to be solved. Try citrus terpene or orange oil instead.
Goo Gone…but I’ve never used it for this problem.

Uni solve - Medical adhesive solvent. You can get it in a box of individually wrapped towelettes from the pharmacy section.
Acetone will be your friend, but be careful. Don’t contact with the opposite part of the plate.
