Right now, if you want to rename an existing User Preset you
- open the preset,
- save it under its new name, then
- delete the old preset.
Being able to rename directly would be much more convenient.
Right now, if you want to rename an existing User Preset you
You can’t do that. It will save the new name under the existing preset. Then when you try to delete the first preset it will tell you that you can’t delete it because it has a preset saved under it. So then you have to delete the new preset you made, then delete the first preset you did. At that point you are left with no presets. Its weird how Bambu thought this was good. Basically in their head they thought “if someone wants to change the name of the preset, what we will do is instead of just changing a word, we will make them have to delete the entire preset. That’s what they want. By the end they will have no presets at all if they want to change the name.” I mean its genius actually. Say you want to change the name, they decide that you will not have a preset at all.
Has this gotten onto any list of possible future improvements? I would really like to have this! It’s common that I want the name of the setting to include a list of brands that it applies to, and it’s super-inconvenient to change the name to list another brand.
Sure, it’s not that important, but it also seems like this ought to be pretty easy to implement?
