I can’t seem to repair my printer. I can’t get the 2 hot end pins back into the unit. They may be partially in, but they don’t slide in.and easily fall out. I don’t want to push too hard.
Is there a Bambu or other shop that can plug the nozzle back in? I live near Philadelphia PA. I hope to not ship it to Bambu.
Thanks.
Well the bad news is Bambu doesn’t do any type of repairs.
But the good news is we’re going to get that hotend back in. What’s happening is even if it feels like it’s as far up as it can go, it isn’t. That’s why the screws won’t go all the way in. First check and make sure the end of the filament isn’t sticking out of the bottom of the extruder and blocking it. If it’s not put the hotend back in and wiggle it slightly while pushing it up. Try pushing one of the screws in while you’re pushing up.
There is an alternative if that doesn’t work. You can take the extruder off, connect the hotend to it and then put the whole thing back on.
Here’s how to get the extruder off if it comes to that… but I would definitely try the other things first.

The issue I’m talking about here is not clogging, but plugging in the 2 connectors in. The extruder has been removed and I can’t connect the wires. Not sure how much force to use. Does it help to screw the extruder back in? Not sure if it changes the angle or something.
In the video it seems to simply slide in.
Thanks.
Ohhh, sorry… I got it now. So that connector sometimes feels like it’s in place even if it’s actually above or below where it should be. If you slide the X gantry all the way to the front and get as close to it as you can it should help you make sure it’s going in correctly. I would definitely screw everything back in place before connecting the wires. The only other possibility is the plug has worn out, but that normally doesn’t happen unless it’s been removed and put back several times.
Thanks. Took my dad 35 tries to get it in.
Back to the clog, I have another thread where that topic is covered.
I’m having a clog issue as well. I replaced the hot head and extruder but there isnt any filament coming out
