Good Morning, could someone please help me in what I need tochange the camera in the A1 mini, to a purchased “USB Logitech webcam” please, either a picture, or a link to where I can find one?
Then, how do I go about ensuring I’m only using the Webcam video and not both cameras trying to compete, i.e. Is there a disconnection, either cable, or in settings? Thanks in advance.

Is that how you imagine it? I only have a video of the X1C right now. Please note that this is only an example; an X is completely differently from an A. (Note that this is not necessary, as replacement parts are available.)
Or would you prefer a solution with software and a web server? No advertising, but something like that?

Otherwise, if all this is maybe too complicated for you, why not just put a WiFi cam next to it? You can also control it with your phone. It also has internal memory. Like a TP-Link Tapo C100 WLAN IP.

It won’t connect to a webcam directly, but you can probably hook it up to a laptop/phone/raspberry pi/etc.
Another suggestion, get an older model Raspberry Pi, an RPI camera and mount it to something pointing at the printer.

Thanks for your reply. The Original camera is rubbish, so I wanted to completely change it to a PC plug and play USB connector Logitech webcan I recently purchased, however the webcam has a USB fitting on the end to plug directly into a PC. I thought ther might be some form of adaptor or cable (USB to AMS), as the Babbu A1 mini only has 2 AMS ports on the side, so I thought I might be able to use these to run the webcam, giving me a much more stable camera.
The AMS ports are for talking to an AMS. A Webcam is a totally different thing. Even if you could plug the USB cam in to an AMS port, it wouldn’t work. The AMS port isn’t a generic USB port that would support any arbitrary USB device you plugged in. And even if the camera could be connected because the AMS ports are running USB, it’s by no means a sure bet that the printer FW would handle it correctly, since the printer’s FW is looking for the specific camera the printer was designed with, your replacement might not “look” similar enough it’d function as desired without FW changes.
It’s a USB camera. Mount it wherever you want, plug it in to a PC, and monitor using something like Media Player. Anything else would be a major undertaking to get going.
Thanks mate, looks like its back to the drawing board, I actually saw it on a YouTube video, I think they actually rewired the Bambu camera into a normal USB camera, and then mounted it to a better position, then they put LED lights to the underneath, or back of the rail, unfortunately I can’t find the video that I saved into one of my many playlists…lol…so I can’t even try and figure out how to rewire, even if I wanted to, and I can’t find any adaptor from the camera plug into a USB. But thank you very much for spending the time on explaining the AMS ports & the system. 
There’s always a stand-alone camera option. Wouldn’t integrate with Studio, but you could always open a separate viewer to watch. And if you used a Webcam (instead of a USB camera), you could even access it from outside of your house.
Thanks….you now have me intrigued, and slightly baffled…lol….is it possible for you to elaborate on what you mean by being able to access from outside of my home, especially as the webcam I have is a USB fitting one, and I’m certain that I have an older model stand alone Camera, which also has a USB fitting to transfer files from camera onto my PC, neither would sit close enough to use cabling that came with both to connect to PC, and I dont want cables all over the place.
Sure… any of the myriad of Webcams you can buy to put around your house ought to work (you just need to find one that can focus close enough). These cameras sit on your home network. You don’t connect them to a PC. But the PC can find them on your network and stream video to the PC that way (often, the cameras come with both PC and phone software for this). And the software also lets you access the camera feed from outside your home network using your phone.
I have a bunch of these scattered around the outside of my house, so I can see if someone is coming to the door when the dogs start barking, or when they’re in the back yard. And when I’m not home, I have a couple indoors I can check to see if the dogs are behaving. They do not always behave. 
The brand of camera I use is called “Reolink”.
So I would still need a power source close by for the camera to work
Some are USB cable powered, others come with a AC wall wart to power them, some are battery powered, even solar. Some are even really small (spycam size). Just gotta shop around, odds are good you can’t think of a configuration someone isn’t already making.
Also, if you already have a USB camera, besides being able to watch on your PC, you can use software like YAWCAM (Yet Another Web Cam) to stream video from your PC making it act like a webcam so you can see it from other devices both inside and outside of your home.

Cheers mate, and I’m sorry for my late reply, wasn’t aware someone had replied….I went with your second option of replacing with a WiFi camera, the putting together a bracket to hold it in place…..however with all the bits and pieces I’m doing, I’m still yet to glue onto mount……..lol…and them setup the camera onto phone and my tablet, but I’m sure this is the easy part, as Iv’e done these things over a long period of time.
I wonder if anyone had wired up a cam from the X1C to an A1 mini.
That would be a nice idea if the firmware could handle it.
Bambu could sell a replacement cable to change to the X1C Camera on the A1 mini.
The X series uses two circuit boards and the A series just one to control everything including the cameras.
The camera is a lower quality and lower frame rate due to the limitations in the main board(s).
A nice idea, but the A series lacks the hardware to run a better camera, this is not a firmware issue.
Shame.
