Replace lost screw in AMS

I lost one of the two screws that hold the AMS spool holder to the AMS base while removing a broken filament. Can you provide a replacement screw, or the specifications for a replacement screw (diameter, thread pitch (TPI) and length) so I can replace it?

I almost did the same thing.
I would be happy to buy a small “screws kit” from the store that has the most common screws included, maybe bundle it with an Allen wrench or some other tool.

It’s an M3 screw, length maybe 12mm - I’ll measure. But I have found it useful to buy one of the M2/M3/M4 screw and nut assortments from Amazon, as I go through a lot of these for various reasons.

I have nothing more to add but I have to have 20 characters for a reply.

Did you ever find the correct size? I am in the same predicament looking for a replacement screw

looks like screw kit is now in the store. They still need to add ALLEN WRENCH set. My 1.5 end got messed up when I used it to do a hot pull. The pull worked but now the allen wrench has slightly rounded edges and wont loosen the screws anymore.

Would highly suggest spending the extra couple bucks to buy a quality allen wrench such as a Wera. You don’t want to strip a screw head as some of them are a real pain to get out once that happens.

it’s an M3x8 if anyone is still interested

The screws think he needs are the 2 screws that hold the internals to the case. The are almost lik a small wood screw with aggressive threads. I lost both of mine and need to replace them. Any idea of what they are? They were about 1cm or a bit less.

If you need to reach the word limit, enclose some gibberish in <>. So

ĂŽm a big fan of Wera but if you want to use those small size, stay away from their ball heads.
Every ball 3mm and below I have was bad when they arrived.

But what thread-type? Fine, Course, Self-tapping, etc.?

Here’s the screw type and links to the store:
