Yeah I have a lot of stupid N00b questions about Bambu printing. Also about finishing prints.
The topical areas around the actual printers and the software are really for more in-depth questions. If I ask “What’s a bridge?” I’m really just junking up a category that is typically exploring deeper issues.
My opinion: If you’re a beginner with a question about a printer, post it in the relevant printer category. If your question is about a specific model, including your own, post it in the MakerWorld category.
So beginners, hobbyists, and pros all mix together in the forum - it’s not separated. That way, there’s a very high chance that someone with the same problem will stumble upon a thread.
By the way: It’s no problem at all to ask newcomer questions. Quite the opposite. There are no stupid questions - just questions where sometimes not enough information is provided, but people can ask for more details - Exception: This is a tolling question
But there’s also another option: Do your own research - and consider this a helpful suggestion:
The Bambu Wiki answers many of these questions. For example, on the topic of bridge.
Bambu Academy offers a short course on the basics of 3D printing - it’s actually pretty fun, and you earn points toward gift cards while you’re at it.
And of course, don’t forget YouTube: Usually, all you have to do is type the topic + “3D printing” in the search bar:
Don’t forget: The forum also has a search function! Maybe someone has already asked that question?
