Some of us make big models, that are broken into parts, on different plates, that exceed the upload limit to makerWorld per file, so we have to make two 3mf’s for one model because of the upload size limit.
Would you mind sharing the 3mf with me via the 3mf?
I will check whether it exceed our slicing time limit too much.
Just open a projekt and import all 3mf one by one. If an object needs special settings, ajust them in the object and fixate that.
Finally save the project as an new 3mf with all objects in IT.
Finally upload that 3mf. I Do that all the time…
Or Do you mean something else?
He means uploading to makerworld.
This was for MakerWorld, I forgot to mention this in the original post. Right now the size limit is 150mb per file. My file is 156mb when made as a single 3mf. Removing some of the parts and putting those parts into another 3mf puts the original file below the 150mb threshold. However, MakerWorld only lets us upload one 3mf per file, so the pieces I have cut into another 3mf have to be added as their own profile, which is not ideal.
We will consider increasing the limit to 200MB.
I do not mind, but I only put one part into the .3mf… do I need to put all three in one .3mf, even though they require different parameters?
