I’d love to request that Bamboo Farm Manager adopt features similar to FlowQueue for managing 3D printing farms.
Specifically, automatic printer assignment would be extremely helpful, allowing jobs to be instantly allocated to free printers without manual intervention. AMS slot auto-detection would also be a huge improvement, ensuring the correct filament color and material are selected automatically.
Advanced queue controls would make farm management far more efficient. Features like drag-and-drop prioritization, dynamic scheduling, and better queue visibility would let users quickly adjust workloads and maximize efficiency.
Additionally, you could add the ability to use separate cameras—like from Amazon or similar—to monitor prints, or upgrade and enhance the existing camera feed so it’s less delayed and more live. Also, it would be great if I could rearrange the print queue and add prints I’ve previously downloaded or printed, straight from my phone—especially useful when traveling.
These improvements would significantly reduce manual steps, give me full oversight, and bring Bamboo Farm Manager to a more professional, streamlined level.
