Being able to use different nozzle sizes on each extruder would allow for one nozzle to print infill or support material while another would provide fine detail (i.e., 0.2mm).

Seriously, though, it’s been in development since before the H series release, but Bambu’s CEO is on record stating they won’t release it unless they are fully confident in it’s performance.
Did not know that the H2C would be a candidate or I would have added it.
It seems that other slicer that starts with an ‘O’ is supposed to support it, but have not yet tried it. I’m probably treading on dangerous ice here, but perhaps Bambu Lab could lift that code? ![]()
Orcaslicer can handle multiple nozzle slices in the abstract sense - it can toolpath prints using two different nozzle sizes, but it doesn’t have any of the H2C-specific stuff that the printer needs to actually do it. All of the reliability, error detection, etc. stuff isn’t in Orca.
Not defending Bambu at all, I really think they’ve had enough time, and if not, then the H2C Orcaslicer developers should do it and let the open source community develop and test it collaboratively.

I know. The other reason this is really important for the X2D is the auxiliary nozzle can’t print material well at 0.2mm. That’s a limitation of the Bowden extruder.
This means when using a 0.2mm nozzle the X2D is effectively a single nozzle machine.
