I have P1S and the new Centauri Carbon. I would like to control both printers from Bambu Studio. I see a number of Elegoo printers in the list and would like to have this one added also. Trying to avoid moving to Orca Slicer so therefore this request.
Welcome to the forum.
Bambu does have a wiki regarding adding 3rd party printers to Studio.
I would love this!!! Please make it happen Bambu labs. Using orca slicer sucks.
I second this. The Elegoo slicer is a variation of Orca but it’s half baked. We have 6 x1s and have a couple centuari carbons that would be nice to control with Bambu studio.
New to this hobby. Please make this happen.
Hello, i also support this. please add the printer in the menu as an option.
Please make this happen for the Carbon Centauri on Bambu Studio. I’ve got the Elegoo Carbon Centauri and Bambu X1C
Is it just me but when I try to create a new printer “Elegoo” isn’t in the manufacturer drop down, even though some of there other printers are already in Bambu Studio?
Hey Bambu… when will you add the CENTAURI CARBON printer to the dropdown list of printers for the Bambu Labs slicer? We are waiting.
has anyone figured out how to make this happen? I got a centuari and it works pretty well but I have 99% of my data on bambu slicer. I don’t want to use orca. anyone figure out how to transfer the machine over. It is a bit complex and I really don’t want to spend the time to learn how to do this. if im being honest
Yes! I would love to be able to use the same slicer for all of my printers.
I opened a feature request on the Bambu Studio github, maybe that will help.
100% need this! Please Bambu add this to the list of printers!
Thank you!
the elegoo slicer its really bad, i hope they add the printer Centauri Carbon 2 to bambu stido sooooon
It actually doesn’t work yet, lol
If you push past it and try, pushed files get 404 as well and that print dialog did not look ok lol. Needs time to cook
Sorry, I did not realize there was a problem. Checking GitHub, it seems to involve a change by Elegoo that is not in compliance with the GPL license.
There is also a partial fix from Elegoo available, while work is ongoing to regain full functionality:
The partial fix is not yet in the release or nightly versions, but you can download and help test it by downloading the appropriate Artifact for your operating system.
Back up your presets first, to be safe.
For anyone who the partial fix is not working for, I made a basic tool that bridges this gap by starting an Octoprint service on your computer and redirecting the print files through Elegoo link to the printers. I tested it with Bambu studio and my Centauri Carbon
