I’ve seen multiple models that are obviously resin SLA prints, but with 3MF profiles with erroneous photos. @MakerWorld put me through 3 weeks of work to photograph every single print profile for my models or else they’d all get taken down, and gave my partner a -3,000+ point violation negative punishment because they accidentally didn’t match the license type on a fully credited remix. So why do some people get a pass? Are resin prints now passable?
You’ve stumbled upon a very interesting case here. This is his 20th account… not exaggerating, 20th account. Bambu will let him upload for a few days then ban the account. He’ll create a new account and start over. He makes his money from Ko-fi donations.
I said ‘get a pass’ because I and 3 others who messaged me privately all reported the model and got the same rejection response. (my comment gently asking about the SLA photos was met with blatant lies and gaslighting which got others pretty mad and they started messaging me) after 4th rejection I posted this, but didn’t want to say I had reported it. Regardless, it was taken down. This same guy posted the model link all over reddit asking people to give him boosts and downloads as well, but reporting those posts to MakerWorld and the Bambulab subreddit mods has never gone anywhere, always rejected despite being 100% against their rules. I dont’ even care that it’s copyrighted by one of the most letigious IP holders on earth, I only cared that I keep seeing Resin prints on MW and wanted clarity on if they are now allowed somehow, e.g. rumors of a future Bambu Lab resin printer possibly coming true, etc.
TL;DR: it was taken down.
