When I have time tonight, I will have a look at it in Bambu Studio, and see what needs to be changed in the gcode to resolve this.
Can I use the initial 3mf file you shared?

Maybe it would be better to generate already a gcode file from your actual model you are trying to print and send it in a private message.
I can the send you the changed one back.
And explain what I changed.
Yes you can use the initial 3mf file, I just created a test one really quickly to showcase easier the problem
I hope this is fixed in the future.
This is a legitimate bug in my opinion as its easily replicable on other printer not to mention a 200-400 dollar purchase to bypass -- not fix -- this issue isn’t something I’m willing to make others do; not in this economy.
Very much agree, I do hope this is just a bug and not intentional to push people to buy an AMS.
I have found a solution!!! You can edit the “Change filament gcode” under printer settings to make it so it actually pauses and unloads the filament for you!!! All you gotta do is select “change filament” instead of pause and it’ll automatically do it for you!!! It’s very neat, was able to print a keychain I made flawlessly without any problems.
I’ll post the links to the Reddit and Bambulab forum I found, it was very hard to find (thanks google)
