I used the Revopoint POP 2 3d scanner to scan a dental impression-making tool and then created a new design for it using Fusion360. I also designed a mat specifically for this dental tool. The final step was to print the design using the Bambulab X1 printer. I am pleased to report that the final result was perfect.

You got some more experience with 3d scanners? I have heard very mixed reviews about consumer level scanners. Most reviews were either stating the scanners are great or not working at all.
How good is the scan quality and how reliable you can get scans to actually work? And how detailed these scan are? Only for bigger parts or also usable for fine details?
