Reverse print

Hello.
I’m strugling with reverse printing.
I’m experiencing this issue when I print small letters.
I did few test

  • lowered the temp to 200.
  • swtiched on z hop and wipe.
Nothing seems working to avoid this issue.

Maybe print black before the wait could have helped, but I can’t set it.

Any idea how I can get rid of this?

Thanks

honestyl…what is the issue? you expect that we all know the orginal file and see whats wrong…i just guess that you mean the black lines in the N´? if yes it looks like a wrong slice what about a picure of the first layer in BL?

Hello. I wrote the post I assumed it was clear. Evidently it is not.
You got it. I have issue with the “hair” that waste the first layer.

I’m using PEI.
Thanks

have you watched the first layer? could be some rest of black filament sitting on the nozzle…do u do the first layer inspection? it takes so long that it tends to ooze

Its Pei. No first layer inspection for it.

The hair comes from the nozzle during the movement…

so you need more retraction

Retraction 2 mm. Wipe enabled… seems not enough

Orca slicer offers a retraction test

I did it. Twice.
No ozing. I really cant explain why it happens… i try to take a video asap

There should be an option to have the printhead avoid the model during travel. Did you activate this?

I cant upload the video :frowning:

Do mean Avoid crossing wall?

Last few seconds.
While it prints the ext wall all seems ok, but when it starts filling in with the white … something go wrong.

Yes, avoid crossing walls.

When you follow the tool head path in preview, layer 1 and then literally horizontally scroll along the vey path the nozzle takes, does it CROSS where you see those white lines in inside the letters’ bodies and does it also PRINT?

If it’s cross only, then I’d give it even more retraction and possibly even z hop.

If it also prints, smth else entirely is fucked.

Also, you can edit the angle of the fill lines and see if that affects your result.
