I can’t seem to get my mac mouse right click to open drop-down menu within the prepare section. It used to work for adding modifiers etc but has since stopped entirely. The right clicking works on all other programs on the mac. Just Bambu Studio. I have updated Bambu Studio to the latest version and still no luck.
I am using the trackpad and do not have access to a mouse at the moment. By chance are you using a mouse? If you’re on a Macbook, can you test with the trackpad too?
I think I figured out the issue. The right-click on a Macbook’s trackpad is conflicting with the two finger scroll. And the scroll is very sensitive.
I am successfully able to right click using the trackpad by very quickly one finger clicking to set the layer and then immediately two finger clicking to open the menu.
Same problem. Right click on a Mac laptop is to use two fingers to click, and it just scrolls to another layer instead of showing the right click menu. For me, this issue is most prevalent when trying to right click a layer within the preview window, and change filament. This basically doesn’t work within the Bambu studio app. If you use an external mouse right click works fine.
A workaround, although one shouldn’t be necessary, is to go to System Settings, Trackpad, and change “secondary click” from “click with two fingers” to something else like “click in bottom right corner”. And I’m running Sequoia 15.1 for the record.
I have the same issue on multiple sections of the software.
Unable to use some features of the software because of it. Such as, adding/creating a custom filament. Also, if starting a print from my PC vice the printer itself, I cannot choose an AMS slot. I am forced to choose it at the printer.
Windows 11 Home
Logitech Wireless Mouse
Bambu Studio 1.9.7.52
Any ideas for Windows users?
I’ve got this problem as well, very frustrating. It’s been happening to me pretty much since I got my printer but appears to have gotten worse with the latest Studio versions. Double right-clicking used to work sometimes but you’re just as likely to fill the bed with the part you’re clicking.
Similar problem, my left click doesn’t work… but I’ve narrowed it down to using BetterMouse as my mouse configurator. When I turn off BetterMouse it works fine.
UPDATE Looks like it’s the Left & Right Click Through settings on BetterMouse causing it for me. Maybe you have a similar problem with your mouse driver.
I’m running MacOS 13.7.2 (Ventura) and BambuStudio 1.10.1.50 and whilst right click works, I’m only using an apple magic mouse and sensitive is hard work as invariably it scrolls rather than clicks. I think I need to try and customise per app somewhere but BetterMouse seems to break it so I’ll have to investigate!
