Hey everyone,
I’m experiencing a strange fan-related issue on my new Bambu Lab X2D after updating to the latest stable firmware version and I’m wondering if anyone else has seen something similar.
Number of error: [0300-8010 000824]
The first time it happened was during a print with supports, right when the printer switched to the second nozzle. The print suddenly stopped because of a fan error and wouldn’t continue.
I powered the printer off and back on, manually checked/spun the fan a little, then tested the right extruder fan at around 55°C and the fan started working normally again. After that, I restarted the exact same print and it completed successfully without any issues.
Today I started another long print (~12 hours), this time using only the left nozzle (no supports / no second nozzle switching). Around the 4-hour mark, the exact same fan error appeared again. I resumed the print and it continued normally afterward.
That’s why this feels really strange to me:
-
sometimes it happens during a nozzle switch,
-
sometimes during single-nozzle printing,
-
and after resuming, everything seems perfectly fine again.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior after the latest stable update?
At this point I’m considering contacting Bambu Support because maybe the fan itself is starting to fail and might need replacement, but the timing with the firmware update also makes me suspicious.
Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated
