I keep getting this weird rippling in my bottom layer? The print turns out fine, but I’m worried there might be a bigger issue.
Usually a sign of slight over extrusion.
My flow ratio is .98
Should I lower it? I’m using Standard PLA.
Test it.
The correct flow ratio will vary depending on printer, nozzle, hot end, material, manufacturer, color, etc.
OrcaSlicer has a good flow ratio test built into it, but there are plenty of other ways to find the ratio that works best for your filament in your printer.
You say rippling. I’m having some very thin spots with my mini (on the first layer). Can you post a photo?
