SALES ad very misleading... not honored

When Bambu had there most recent sale they listed the sales ad 12/3/24 - 1/4/25. No time associated with it.

The end date is the issue. I as a consumer sees that as the sale good for the entire day of the 4th, ending at 11:59:59 pm of 1/4/25.

I attempted to purchase some hotends on the day of Jan 4th, for the discount. The discount was still listed on the item, on the website. The discount would not apply at checkout. So I took a screen shot sent in a ticket.

The response I got from BL, was that ad ended at the start of the 4th. Who the hell would list the ad that way. If they wanted the ad to end at the strike of midnight. They should have listed the ad as ending 1/3/25.

They would no honor their mistake. Even though the discount was still listed on the website. What kind of monkeys do they have running that place.

The sale stated it ended at UTC+8 on the 4th.

For those in the U.K., that was 8 am.

In the US using EST, that was 3 am.

It was clearly stated on the banner for the sale and in the terms.

I am the first (and often) to highlight things BL fail to share, this was not one of them. It was public and available on the sale page.

I am not sure what else they could have done.

You can see in the link above that I reminded other people, they were in Europe.

This banner for the sale shows the times in Pacific Standard Time (PST), which shows the same thing, that is midnight PST, 3am EST and 8AM GMT.

I’m not browsing all over the website. When I know exactly what I am looking for. I went straight to that item.

Time expiration, should be listed on the item itself. Which it wasn’t.

You said you knew the sale ended on the 4th.

Which means you saw the sale dates advertised. Even if you now say you didn’t.

You also said…

Yet, you are wrong, it was everywhere. If you saw the dates, which you confirmed you did, you saw the times.

I am sorry you missed out, but, the information was freely available.

Anyone wishing to take advantage of a time-limited thing should always review the terms or risk misunderstanding. You didn’t even need the terms for this though.

Before you say I am a BL apologist, search for me here, I am anything but, I value honesty in communications and happily call them out when they fail.
