Save the print to SD card by default

I have this setting enabled on both my X1C printers, one SD card only has two prints saved on it and the other printer has none. There is a separate tab for print cache but the print cache only has 8 files saved in that folder and they seem to just be the 8 most recent prints. This feature doesn’t seem to work.

Seems to work fine on my X1C’s? They have every print sent to the printers in the Cache folder for the last ~6 months. This was when I added SD cards to each of them and enable the “Save to SD card”.

I really wish it’d save the 3mf at print time, not just the gcode

The original .3mf file isn’t transferred to the printer. Only the .gcode.3mf is transfered.

It would be a cool selectable feature for Bambu Studio to save a copy of the .3mf and a copy of the .gcode.3mf into a timestamped “Backup” folder.

Yes I realized that, same issue with trying to do it with the post-processing script. I can’t count the number of times I wish I could have gone back to a print , with all the settings and everything exactly as I had at that point in time.

(Especially if you end up changing some of the filament or process profiles later on)

I’m seeing the same thing. Everything is enabled but I only get the most recent prints in the SD card print cache.
